Acupressure

Acupressure is an ancient Chinese technique based on the principles of acupuncture, and involves the use of finger pressure (without the needles) on specific points along the body.

Acupressure is is a way of accessing and releasing blocked or congested energy centers in the body. Chinese cultures believe the points to be junctures of meridian pathways that carry energy called chi. Western scientists have also mapped out and proven the existence of these points using electrical devices.

Acupressure massage therapy stimulates and activates the body’s own energies to help fight illness and restore harmony. Some of the acupressure points are significant as they relate to a specific part of the body while others are more general in their effect.

TUI NA  ( Chinese Massage )

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. Deep tissue massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage, as the therapist works to release chronic muscle tension or knots (also known as "adhesions."

Chair Massage

Chair massage is a style of seated massage that is typically short time and focuses on your back, shoulders and neck and arms. Chair massage is done over clothes and doesn't require any massage oil.For chair massage, you are seated in a special chair with your face resting in a cradle, looking down towards the floor, with supports for your arms. Your back and neck completely relax while the therapist relieves muscle tension using Swedish massage moves like kneading and compression and tapotement, which don't require oil.

Hot Stone

Hot stone massage is a variation on classic massage therapy Heated smooth, flat stones are placed on key points on the body. The massage therapist may also hold the stones and use them to massage certain areas of the body.

The use of hot stones for healing dates back to ancient times, but it wasn't until Arizona massage therapist Mary Nelson introduced her hot stone massage technique, called LaStone Therapy, that the use of hot stones for massage caught on.

Massage therapists have also developed their own versions of the hot stone massage using heated, smooth rocks.

Four-Hands

Four-handed massage is a massage where two therapists work on you at the same time, mirroring each others' movements. For instance, both your legs or arms are being massaged at the same time. One therapist works on the right side of your back while the other works on the left.

When done well, four-handed massage feels like you are completely enveloped in sensation and can be quite a wonderful experience. To synchronize, one therapist takes the lead and the other follows, but it should feel like they're doing the same thing simultaneously. It helps if they have a similar style and "touch" and have worked together before.

Couples Massage

Couples massage is a massage that takes place in a couples suite. At the very least this is a room large enough for two massage tables. where you can relax together after your treatments. As for couples massage etiquette, it's fine to talk to each other through the massage if you want, or be quiet the whole time. It's really up to you.

Couples massage is a great way to introduce a partner who has never gotten a massage before in a way that makes them feel more comfortable the first time.

It can also be a good choice if you're traveling with someone you don't get to see often enough -- a sister, girlfriend, mom or best friends -- and you want to spend as much time together as possible.
